The Texas high school football playoffs kick off this week, with several Dallas area schools expected to make deep runs.

Some Dallas-Fort Worth schools are poised to compete for State titles, including Southlake Carroll and Garland in Class 6A. Both finished their seasons unbeaten at 10-0.

In Class 5A, Denton Ryan is the defending state champion and finished the season at 9-1. They are a legitimate repeat threat.

In Class 4A, Argyle is the defending state champion and finished the season at 9-1. Their single loss was to Melissa, who finished the season 8-2 and are on an eight-game win streak. Both should have a say in who ends up the 4A state champion.

Below is a list of all Dallas-Fort Worth area high school playoff matchups with the location and time for each game.
