The Frisco Heritage girls’ doubles team of Tamiya Lintz and Saundarya Vedula earned the district’s first ever title in that division in resounding fashion.

The dynamic duo smoked Highland Park in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2 for the Class 5A title. In their first set romp, the Lady Coyotes didn’t allow a single point.

“Saundarya Vedula / Tamiya Lintz UIL 5A state champions in girls’ doubles,” the team posted on its Twitter page. “First ever in the history of Frisco ISD.”

Sophomore Leesha Gourammagari also got in on the fun for Frisco Heritage, winning the girls’ singles title in straight sets over Nederland’s Megan Do -1, 6-4.
