The Dallas Cowboys’ playoff hopes are likely over following a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10. Yet, the most discussed topic following this game was the lack of curtains in AT&T Stadium, which caused wide receiver Ceedee Lamb to drop a touchdown.

The use of curtains in AT&T Stadium has become one of the most discussed topics for the Cowboys in recent weeks due to multiple instances in which a player has appeared to lose the ball in the sun.

Lamb dropped a potential touchdown early in the game and was caught on camera after the play pointing to his eyes, seemingly indicating that he could not see the ball due to the sun.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked after the game whether he would consider using curtains to block out the additional sun, a common trend for other events held in the venue.

Jones quickly shut down that idea, sarcastically exclaiming that the organization should just “tear the damn stadium down and build another one.”

“Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues,” Jones said, per WFAA.

Jones further elaborated by saying the team should account for the sun when deciding which side of the field to take.

“By the way, we know where the sun is going to be when we decide to flip the coin or not,” Jones added, per WFAA. “So we do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium.”

Lamb had a different opinion when discussing the issues with the sun after the game, telling reporters that he would “1,000%” support using curtains in the stadium for future home games.

“I mean y’all are doing my job right now,” responded Lamb when asked if he would talk about curtains with Jones, per ESPN.

Although many have called for the use of curtains during games, Jones has remained steadfast in his opinion since the stadium opened in 2009, and there should be no expectation that changes will be made.
