V.R. Eaton High senior outfielder Sterling Siebold has signed on to play at Southwestern Assemblies of God.
“Congrats to COBRA Sterling Siebold,” the Cooperstown Cages Sports Club posted on Facebook. “Atta boy, Sterling.”
This year proved to be an eventful one for Siebold on and off the field, with the Eaton senior being named Future Educator of the Month for February.
“Wonderful job, Sterling,” the school posted on Facebook.
As Eaton fought its way to the regional quarterfinals, Siebold proved clutch, lashing a walk-off, bases-loaded single against Lee in a 5-4 win in Game 2 of their three-game series on May 15.
The win sent the Eagles into a regional quarterfinal round showdown against Keller High.
