For the second consecutive year, the 32 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year nominees will be teaming up with Nationwide Insurance and a non-profit fundraising platform to raise money for charity.

Alltroo, a fundraising platform co-founded by former NFL tight end Kyle Rudolph that connects donors to causes through custom giveaways, is helping highlight individual charity drives by offering unique grand prizes to fans who donate to each respective cause.

Rudolph himself is a three-time Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nominee. The annual award recognizes players for their efforts in the community throughout the season, and one winner is chosen at the annual NFL awards ceremony.

“As we enter the second year of our partnership with Nationwide for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award campaign, we’re bringing even more meaningful experiences to fans while creating invaluable support to the causes closest to our nominees’ hearts,” Rudolph said in a press release. “Thanks to Nationwide’s continued support, we’re excited to further engage fans in the philanthropic efforts of their favorite players. The NFL isn’t just about the thrill of the game; it’s also about the impact players make off the field.”

Fans nationwide can enter the giveaway and support the charity efforts for as little as $10, which enters them for a chance to win the VIP prize: two tickets to a 2024 Cowboys game, two sideline passes, and a signed jersey.

Defensive end Demarcus Lawrence is the Dallas Cowboys’ nominee for the 2023-2024 season, and he is helping teammate Dak Prescott’s Faith Fight Finish Foundation.

The Faith Fight Finish Foundation focuses on colon cancer research, mental health, suicide prevention, bridging the gap between law enforcement and the youth and the communities they serve, and offering assistance to those facing life-challenging difficulties.

The campaign runs through January 31. All donations will support the charities. Each player is offering different prizes — generally including tickets and a signed jersey — and supporting a different cause. The Cowboys winner will receive two 2024 game tickets, two sideline passes, and a signed Lawrence jersey.
