Major League Baseball and the Texas Rangers are encouraging fans to apply for part-time positions for All-Star Week, which will take place this summer at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington.

All-Star Experience Team Members, including Capital One All-Star Village Interactive Assistants and Guest Services members, will fulfill numerous duties throughout the four-day event. The All-Star Village is a “uniquely one-of-a-kind baseball theme park” featuring several activities that allow fans to swing for the fences, showcase their pitching velocity, steal bases, take photos with MLB Trophies, and train like the pros. The Interactive Assistants will help fans select the right equipment, ensure they follow safety guidelines, and assist with running the interactive features.

“Guest Services team members will assist fans with wayfinding, signing up for various activities, distributing promotional giveaways, directing guests to amenities like the sensory room and nursing room, and most importantly, helping fans sign up for the All-Star Experience Pass,” a mobile app designed to help guests maximize their All-Star experience, according to a press release from MLB.

Some team members will assist guests with photo opportunities and lineups to meet and get autographs from some of baseball’s legendary players who will appear during the event.

Applicants must be 18 or older and have a valid ID to prove age. They must also be available for a total of four four-hour shifts, pass a background check, sign a liability waiver, and attend a training session on July 10. Applications are due by Wednesday, May 15, and can be filled out at MLB.com.

Atrium, the employee of record, has not identified the wage compensation that Experience Members will receive, but successful applicants are in line for some pretty sweet swag, including a commemorative t-shirt, cap, water bottle, and a cinch-type backpack. They will also be given a commemorative baseball and have unlimited access to the All-Star Village. MLB says in its press release that applicants do not need to be from the Arlington area but the goal is to try and build excitement ahead of the event.

All-Star Week begins on Saturday, July 13, and runs through Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Hours of the event will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
