The Midlothian Panthers boys soccer team is sending three 2021 graduates to the college ranks, with Will Blevins heading north of the Red River and Zeke Compton and Johnny Hill continuing as teammates close to home.
Former Midlothian defenseman Blevins will matriculate with and play for Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Okla., while Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie secured the services of Compton and Hill, who played goalie and defenseman respectively for the Panthers.
“We want to congratulate all of our @midlo_bsoccer and @midlo_gsoccer Panthers going on to play at the next level!” the boys team’s Twitter account posted. “Thanks for your dedication and contributions!”
Blevins, Compton, and Hill helped take Midlothian to the postseason.
Compton and Hill both earned all-district second-team honors to cap their senior and final seasons with the Panthers.
Blevins joins a OWU program that just competed in the NAIA National Championship Game, a 2-0 loss to Missouri Valley.
Compton and Hill look to help SAG rebound from a terrible 2020-2021 season.
