The 2023 NFL Draft begins two weeks from Thursday in Kansas City.

There is plenty of intrigue around the No.1 overall pick and the top quarterback prospects, as well as buzz around several rising defenders and wide receivers.

The Carolina Panthers traded with the Chicago Bears to acquire the top selection.

Many expect the team to take its pick of quarterbacks Bryce Young and CJ Stroud, with others suggesting that Florida’s Anthony Richardson and Kentucky’s Will Levis could also be considered.

The Dallas Cowboys have the 26th overall pick in the first round, with plenty of needs to address. Here are the latest projections for the Cowboys’ selection and the first overall pick from experts around the league.

Many experts expect the Cowboys to address wide receiver, offensive line, or tight end in the first round. The offensive line has been challenged from a depth standpoint in recent seasons. The Cowboys also lost starting tight end Dalton Schultz in free agency and have little depth at receiver should any starters miss time.

The Houston Texans own the second and 12th overall picks. Most experts project a quarterback as the No.2 overall selection, while defensive line and wide receiver are popular choices at No.12.
