“I really enjoyed getting to see how, even during the pandemic, new traditions could form to preserve the seniors’ special year,” Bagwell posted on Facebook. “Spend your time cultivating a group of friends that supports and uplifts you. There are so many kind people in the world to surround yourself with instead.”

Bagwell was feted at a ceremony where four FWCD student-athletes were recognized for having committed to take their talents to the next level. Track and field star Henry Lynn signed with the University of Chicago, swim star Reese Nelson settled on Washington and Lee University and field hockey star Ileana Rodriguez signed to play at Haverford College.

Congratulations to these student-athletes as they compete at the next level,” the school posted on its website.

At Colby, Bagwell plans to study economics and financial markets.
