Fossil Ridge High baseball star Jayden Ayala has committed to attend Luna Community College in New Mexico.
Ayala, who played shortstop and pitched for Fossil Ridge, has been playing the game since he was just 6 years old, including competing for several teams across the Fort Worth area. At Fossil Ridge, he played on the varsity for three seasons starting when he was a sophomore.
Ayala is reported to have had offers from several other Division 3 and junior college programs, but in the end said he settled on Luna College because he felt the school offers the best fit for him. Ayala said he plans to major in business management in the health sector.
