Dallas-based Haggar Clothing sent Pro Football Hall of Famers in the Class of 2020 their Haggar gold blazers by mail. This is a result of the restrictions caused by the pandemic.

The enshrinement ceremony scheduled to hold in Canton, Ohio, was canceled last August, so the gold jackets had to be shipped to the class of 2020 in a special box.

The clothing company, which has been making the Pro Football Hall of Fame gold jackets since 1978, couldn’t allow in-person fittings this year.

Recipients of the Haggar gold jackets recorded videos of their reactions as they got their first look. Former Cowboys Cliff Harris and Jimmy Johnson were one of those excited to receive the coveted jackets.

Measurements of the 2020 class had been taken a day after 2020’s Super Bowl as is customary. This was a few weeks before events started getting canceled as a result of the pandemic.

The new Hall of Famers have also received their jackets, but unlike the 2020 class who did fittings in person, they sent a jacket from their closets as measurement.

Even though the 2020 class missed their enshrinement ceremony last year, they will be joining the Class of 2021 in a dual-year ceremony in August.
