Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons was reportedly in attendance at the end of organized team activities on Tuesday as the two sides continue to negotiate a contract extension.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Parsons has been a scarce member of Cowboys workouts throughout the offseason as the two sides discuss a contract extension that will likely make him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.
Shortly after practice ended on Tuesday, Saad Yousuf of The Athletic spotted Parsons walking into the Cowboys’ locker room.

The Cowboys wrote on the team website that Parsons’ flight to Dallas was late, so he could not attend practice.
When asked about Parsons’ attendance at OTAs, Cowboys co-owner and COO Stephen Jones kept his answer short and said he is not worried about the spotty attendance.
“No, that’s part of the business. All teams go through it and that’s part of the business,” he said, per The Cowboys.
Cowboys Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer was also asked about Parsons’ decision to join the team, noting that the two “talked a couple of days ago” about his future attendance at workouts.
“He’s doing a little bit of traveling, but again, everything that he and I talked about, I expect that he will be here…” said Schottenheimer, per The Cowboys.
“Micah and I have had great communication, everything I’ve asked him to do and vice versa he’s followed through on.”
Parsons also confirmed on social media that he will attend the mandatory minicamp next week.
I will be there! I haven’t missed a mini camp in 4 years! Even though the contract is not done, I have teammates and a playbook ! I’m preparing as if I will be on the field the first week of camp! But it’s in the owner’s hands. I’m ready to win a Super Bowl ! https://t.co/gMsfQEDYo7

Although Schottenheimer has been in contact with the four-time Pro-Bowler, there has seemingly been little discussion between Parsons’ agent and the Cowboys front office regarding an extension.
Clarence Hill Jr. of DLLS Sports reported on Tuesday afternoon that Parsons requested the organization continue negotiations with his agent, David Mulugheta, adding that the “Cowboys have yet to do that so no progress has been made.”
These contract issues are unsurprising, given the Cowboys’ history of waiting until the last moment to sign star players. Both quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb dealt with these discussions last offseason.
Additionally, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones addressed the discussions in April and said that he does not “view it as urgent at all,” as reported by DX.
In layman’s terms, this saga is likely just getting started with the regular season still months away.
