COVID-19 affects Friday Night Lights as it sidelined Mesquite Horn against its match-up with the Highland Park Scots this Friday.

However, thanks to the quick action of Johnny Ringo, Highland Park Independent School District Athletic Director, there will be a football game on Friday night.

The Scots will host Flower Mound High School Jaguars at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 3, at Highlander Stadium.
