Texas will renew its rivalry with Texas A&M for the first time since 2011, the SEC announced Wednesday in releasing its conference schedule for 2024.

The Longhorns will play Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Mississippi State at home. They will play Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and the Aggies on the road. Georgia won the national championship this season, routing TCU in the title game.

Oklahoma and Texas will play in Dallas.

The Sooners will play home games against Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina and road games with Auburn, LSU, Missouri and Ole Miss.

Texas A&M will play LSU, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas at home. The Aggies to travel to Mississippi State, South Carolina, Florida and Auburn.

Every SEC team will play either Texas or Oklahoma in 2024.

Dates for the games will be announced at a later date.

Wednesday is a big night for Texas and Oklahoma football fans.

The SEC Network will unveil the 2024 conference football schedule at 6 p.m.

ESPN’s Peter Burns tweeted that every SEC will have to play either Texas or Oklahoma in 2024.

Longhorns and Sooners fans will know how their first season in the SEC stacks up.

Texas and Oklahoma will officially join the conference on July 1, 2024.

After two schools voted to leave the Big 12 Conference, SEC presidents adopted an eight-game league schedule instead of nine. They also did away with divisions.

Each SEC team also will have to play at least one Power 5 program (ACC, Big 10, Big 12, or Pac-12) on their schedule or a major independent such as Notre Dame.
