The latest Top 25 poll from the Associated Press is out, and there are some changes at the top after No.1 Arizona’s loss to No.3 Purdue.

After the win, the Boilermakers jumped the Wildcats and Kansas for the No.1 ranking. The Jayhawks narrowly escaped Indiana to stay near the top, and Houston jumped to third after surviving a close game against Texas A&M to remain undefeated.

The Cougars remain the highest-ranked team in the state, as Baylor drops four spots after a 24-point loss to Michigan State, and Texas stays at No.19 after beating LSU. The three squads are among several Big 12 teams in the rankings as the conference looks deep while league play approaches.

Four Big 12 teams (Kansas, Houston, Oklahoma, and Baylor) are ranked in the top 10, and Houston and Oklahoma have yet to lose a game. BYU and Texas have also had strong seasons, while Iowa State and TCU received votes but did not crack the Top 25.
