On Friday, February 18 at 3 p.m., the technology giant Samsung will expand its series of Samsung Experience Stores into North Texas with the grand opening of a Frisco location at the Stonebriar Centre Mall (Suite 1214 at 2601 Preston Road).

The first Samsung Experience Store came to Texas in 2019, opening in the Houston Galleria Mall.

Per portal details, the innovative retail experiences will encourage store visitors to enjoy the conveniences of in-store shopping, no-touch curbside pick-up, and repairs of smartphones and smartwatches.

One-on-one assistance from business specialists and “Samsung Care+” professionals will also be available to people prospectively interested in purchasing the mobile phone debuts of the Samsung Galaxy S22, SS Plus, and SS Ultra before their release to the masses on February 25.

Ahead of the store opening, Community Impact reported that Samsung brought their Galaxy Rover to Stonebriar Centre so that customers could test-drive Samsung products and win exclusive Samsung prizes and swag.

Some of the technology compatible with the Galaxy Rover include the Galaxy S20 5G series smartphone, Galaxy A71 5G smartphone, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Buds Live.

The Galaxy Rover has thus far made stops at Minnie’s Food Pantry and the Dallas International Film Festival, in which Samsung served as a Film Festival sponsor. When pre-scheduled activities were canceled, Samsung stepped up and saved the day by improvising a drive-in experience for guests.

“We are a small organization. We depend on partnerships, especially partnerships that get what we’re trying to do,” Dallas Film Society President & Chief Executive Officer Johnathan Brownlee.

Within an email to The Dallas Express, it was announced that VIP attendants such as U.S. Congressman Van Taylor (Texas-3rd District) and Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney, along with President and CEO of Samsung Electronics North America KS Choi, will be present for the launch of the Frisco location.
