North Texas-based TriCelta Development has opened a new headquarters in Allen.

The full-service real estate development firm specializing in hospitality, gaming, and mixed-use projects has secured a spot at its new 4,000-square-foot headquarters in Watters Creek Village.

“Putting down roots here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is a significant step for our company,” said Jake Zwaagstra, Founder and CEO, per Dallas Innovates. “I founded TriCelta Development with a vision of providing superior service to project owners. With space to collaborate, host client meetings, and perform heads-down work, this new office will empower our staff to deliver on that promise.”

TriCelta is involved in planning, designing, constructing, and supporting real estate projects, focusing on the Southwest. According to its website, the company “takes a turnkey approach to development,” approaching projects from the “perspectives of developer, operator, contractor, CFO, owner, and end-user all at once.”

Zwaagstar has managed more than $5 billion in projects, including The Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, the Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Of course, TriCelta deals with more than just casinos.

“With how much growth we’re witnessing in Collin County, finding a space in Watters Creek made sense for our needs… It’s a walkable, mixed-use area that is the perfect place to engage with our community while supporting our clients, partners, and employees,” said Zwaagstra.

Earlier this year, The Dallas Express reported that Dallas-Fort Worth continues to attract new residents. Collin County experienced the largest bump last year, with the addition of around 36,000 people. Overall, the county grew 3.13% in 2023.

For comparison, Dallas County’s population rose by just over 4,300 residents, or 0.16%.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new headquarters at Watters Creek! This vibrant and dynamic location reflects our growth and commitment to serving the broader DFW area,” TriCelta Development posted on LinkedIn on November 28.
