A more than 700-acre ranch owned by famous NFL Hall of Famer and Fox Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw has been relisted on the market for $22.5 million.
The Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses Ranch is a 744-acre property situated roughly 70 miles north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, overlooking the splendorous Red River Valley in Love County, Oklahoma.
The ranch’s central feature is an 8,600-square-foot, rustic-style main home with six bedrooms and eight baths, vaulted ceilings, four stone fireplaces, wood paneling, and tiled floors.
Other amenities include a full kitchen, bar, hot sauna, firepit, a large outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art breeding facility, a 12-stallion barn, a 20-stall show barn, and a 50-stall mare barn with a laboratory, according to Bernie Uechtritz, owner of Dallas-based real estate agency Icon Global Group.
The decision to sell the unique ranch — i.e., the filming location for the E! television series The Bradshaw Bunch — followed multiple back-and-forth discussions between Bradshaw and his wife, Tammy. The couple recently moved to a smaller farm in Texas. The Bradshaws will use their new Texas farm to continue the Bradshaw Quarter Horse business.
“Tammy and I are both sad to leave this great big ranch and our wonderful home, which has been our idyllic retreat of so many years,” Bradshaw said in a statement released by Icon Global. “However, it is time that we slowed down a little, freeing us up to travel more as well as enjoy new grandchildren, family, and other interests.”
The initial declared sale of the 744-acre ranch was deemed incomplete once the would-be-buyer and their representatives had exhausted all negotiated contract extensions. This came after repeated assurances the deal would close, according to Icon Global Group.
“The buyer sadly failed to follow through, perform, fund, and close the transaction,” Uechtritz said. “So as of today, the entire ranch is back on the market, and it’s now not a matter of if it will sell, but to whom.”
The ranch has been listed on and off for five years without finding a successful buyer.
The Bradshaws equine breeding facility and their cattle and recreational ranch in Thackeray will continue operating until it is sold and a new owner takes over.
Other features on the property include a 2,600-square-foot manager’s house, a four-bedroom bunkhouse, a new 20-stall barn for weaning horses, a hay barn, and a show-pig farm.
On October 22, nearly 150 world-class and award-winning Bradshaw Quarter Horses will be sold in a dispersal sale facilitated through the Superior Livestock Auction Co., according to Uechtritz.
