A luxurious Southlake estate was the priciest listing in the Lone Star State last month.
The nearly $13 million property was the most expensive home for sale in Texas in October, according to data from the Houston Association of Realtors. Across the state, the Metroplex had five of the top 10 priciest listings last month.
The home, built in 2007, sits on over seven acres and boasts a massive private pond with water fountains that greet arrivals. The home is nearly 21,000 square feet and features decadent finishings, including Venetian plaster, onyx, marble, and copper gutters.
“Designed for grande-scale entertaining and family living, this estate has it all: a bowling alley, game room with bar, tiered media room, indoor sports court, exercise room, 10-car garage, and more!” reads a description of the listing on Zillow.
The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home boasts a “grand bedroom” featuring a “spa-like en-suite opening to a private outdoor spa.” The “park-like” grounds are lined with walking pathways, and the yard features a “resort-style” swimming pool with numerous water features and an outdoor kitchen.
“It pretty much has everything people want,” said Troy George, co-owner of Synergy Realty, the firm handling the listing, per The Dallas Morning News.
“It’s got everything. I don’t know what else you want in a home.”
While “everything” might be a stretch, the property is certainly well-appointed.
The kitchen features designer finishes, dual sinks, and a butler’s pantry. The large space also includes an eat-in kitchen and stone countertops.
Of course, at nearly $12,995,000, the property located at 935 W Dove Rd. in Southlake is not exactly inexpensive. Zillow estimates the typical payment on this property would run nearly $90,000 per month. This includes property taxes of almost $18,000, home insurance of over $4,500, and a healthy downpayment of nearly $2.6 million.
