Dallas-based NewcrestImage has acquired the Cambria Hotel Southlake DFW in Southlake as it looks to expand its hospitality footprint across the metroplex.
NewcrestImage is headquartered in SilverLake Crossing, a 52-acre master-planned community in Grapevine, just eight miles from the newly acquired Cambria Hotel Southlake DFW.
Mehul Patel, managing partner and CEO of NewcrestImage, says the acquisition will take the hotel to new levels of performance, both for guests and investors.
“The Cambria Hotel Southlake DFW is a vibrant, contemporary hotel strategically located to attract both business and leisure travelers,” he commented.
The Cambria Hotel was built in 2016 and is six miles from DFW International Airport, five miles from the Gaylord Texan Convention Center, and one mile from Southlake Town Square.
Business operations at the Cambria will be taken over by NewcrestImage immediately. Aimbridge Hospitality will provide management.
The property includes an outdoor pool and game area, a 1,000-square-foot fitness center, a business center and a convenience market that are open 24 hours, a casual lounge, and a fine dining restaurant. All guestrooms offer a wide array of guest-friendly amenities, notably a mini-fridge and 55-inch flat-screen TV.
NewcrestImage has a rich history of transforming the hospitality industry. The company owns and operates the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Dallas and the Sinclair Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. In recent years, it popularized trend-setting concepts such as dual-brand properties, adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and the “lifestyle hotel campus,” which creates vibrant mixed-use neighborhoods.
