ONM Living plans to construct two new rental communities in North Texas, which will bring nearly 500 homes to the region.

Cottages at Century Farms in Anna and Cottages at Providence Commons in Providence Village are expected to begin welcoming residents late next year. The developments will add housing to “the rapidly growing U.S. 380 corridor,” according to a May 8 press release.

“Given the significant and continued growth of the U.S. 380 corridor, Cottages at Century Farms and Cottages at Providence Commons will allow us to meet the demand of North Texas residents at all stages of life while expanding our footprint throughout the region,” said OM Living president Ty Robinson.

Cottages at Century Farms, located at 1955 Chambersville Road, north of the future Collin County Outer Loop extension, will boast 290 duplex-style homes across the 23-acre development, while Cottages at Providence Commons, located at 10734 Fishtrap Road, is expected to encompass 188 cottage-style homes in the 14-acre community.

The developments will offer studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom premium rental homes. Floor plans will start at around 350 square feet and move up to nearly 1,400 square feet.

The residences will include covered front porches, fenced yards, granite countertops, walk-in showers, full-size washers and dryers, and smart technology, among other features. Notably, both developments will include community-wide WiFi and a resort-style swimming pool, walking trails, a dog park, a fitness center, pickleball, and other sports courts, according to the press release.

The projects represent ONM’s 14th and 15th build-to-rent developments. The firm’s portfolio currently consists of more than 2,000 homes, with another 1,000 retail units in the pipeline.
