A custom luxury home currently under construction in Collin County is on the market for $12 million.

The home, located at 2305 Country Club Road in Lucas, is on nearly four acres. Once complete, the 11,367-square-foot residence will have seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.

At $12 million, the contemporary property is the most expensive home available in Lucas, a city with an estimated population of just under 9,000, situated roughly 30 miles northeast of Downtown Dallas.

The listing notes that the home includes an eat-in kitchen, a dry bar, an in-law suite, and a smart home system. Access to the fenced property is through an electric gate, which welcomes guests to its oversized circular driveway. High-end finishes, like marble flooring and granite countertops, can be found throughout the property.

The house has Turkish-made windows and doors, a pool, a floating staircase, and a garage with enough space for four vehicles.

According to listing agent MJ Abdelrazzaq of United Real Estate, the home is set apart from other listings because of details like its “book-matched fireplace and contemporary millwork throughout,” per the Dallas Business Journal.

“It is a gorgeous area that boasts larger lots, spaced out homes, and offers a mix of city and country living… Housing in Lucas is luxury overall, specifically on the larger lots, and the area has been booming over the last five to 10 years,” said Abdelrazzaq.

United Real Estate bought the land on which the home sits for $1.1 million about six months before construction began.

As of September 2024, Lucas’s median home list price was $1.3 million, up over 10% since September 2023. For comparison, Dallas’s median home list price was $458,642 last month, up just over 7% from September 2023.

Construction on the custom home in Lucas is expected to be completed in 2025.
