Development and construction company JPI is bringing hundreds of homes to a new community in North Texas.
On June 4, the firm announced it had officially broken ground on Jefferson Kirbybrook, a new community in Grand Prairie that will include 269 townhomes.
According to the release, Jefferson Kirbybrook will offer “high-quality design, spacious living, and prime connectivity between Dallas and Fort Worth.” The new community will include a mix of two- and three-bedroom, two-story townhomes. Each residence will feature its own yard and garage, and the community will include a shared resort-style pool and lounge, grilling areas, fitness center, dog park, and clubhouse.
“Jefferson Kirbybrook marks JPI’s first all-townhome development. We’re committed to enhancing the communities we serve and are proud to bring housing to Grand Prairie that creates a true neighborhood feel,” said Miller Sylvan, SVP Regional Development Partner at JPI, in the recent announcement.
Jefferson Kirbybrook is situated just off Great Southwest Parkway, providing direct access to TX 360, I-20, and SH161. The neighborhood will offer residents close proximity to airports, retail, and nearby recreation. Notably, those who make the new community home can enjoy an easy commute to employers like General Motors, DFW Airport, the University of Texas Arlington, IKEA, Lockheed Martin, and Texas Health Resources.
“This project offers the quality and luxury our residents expect from JPI and more… This prime location, just minutes from key transportation corridors and major destinations like EPIC Central, combines the privacy of a home with the convenience of city living,” said Blake Taylor, SVP Regional Development Partner at JPI.
Jefferson Kirbybrook is not the only new community coming to Grand Prairie. In December, The Dallas Express reported that a massive project known as Goodland will eventually be home to 15,000 residences accommodating 50,000 people at full buildout.
Leasing in Jefferson Kirbybrook is set to be available in early 2026.
