A new workforce housing development has officially begun construction in southwestern Dallas after securing financing, with plans for approximately 360 units located at the intersection of Clark Road and W Camp Wisdom Road, reported Candy’sDirt.
The NRP Group, a multifamily housing builder and manager, is leading the project, named Camp Wisdom. The development will consist of a balanced mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 860 to 1,080 square feet, and is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2027. Wintrust Commercial Real Estate has provided financing for the construction.
As Dallas continues to experience rapid growth, the rising rents and shrinking square footage of new apartments have created challenges for renters, particularly essential workers who often find themselves priced out of the neighborhoods they serve. Camp Wisdom aims to address this gap by providing high-quality housing with affordable rents for middle-income households.
The project site is strategically located near various employment centers and outdoor recreational areas, promoting an active lifestyle for residents. Camp Wisdom will feature amenities such as a fitness center, pool, outdoor game areas, and units equipped with modern appliances, contributing to its mission of fostering community and enhancing residents’ quality of life.
