Passenger Shot on DART Train

A Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) passenger was shot on a train in the early hours of Tuesday, May 31, according to an email sent by a DART spokesperson to The Dallas Morning News.

According to spokesman Gordon Shattles, DART officers responded to a shooting call on a southbound Green Line train at the Inwood/Love Field Station at approximately 12:15 a.m.

Responding officers found the victim at the scene with gunshot injuries and transported them to a local hospital. The victim’s identity was not revealed, and they are expected to recover from their injury.

Shattles did not say if authorities had any person of interest but revealed that DART police are currently working to uncover the motives and circumstances surrounding the shooting.

    Am I correct in understanding that those camera’s hanging from the ceiling of the trains and buses are for show and don’t really do a thing ?
