Opinion: Why I No Longer Vote Democrat

I grew up believing that the Democrats were the “good guys.” The party that made sure that those less fortunate could have a better life. I believed this through and through and maybe it was true at one point in time.

However, a series of events has had me running from the Democratic party. It all started in June of 2019. I made a personal decision to stop watching the news. Not for any political reason, but just because I felt that even watching the five minute recap each morning on NBC put me in a negative headspace that didn’t make me a better wife, mother, or person. By the time the pandemic rolled around I was only watching a movie or show from time to time.  I was completely removed from mainstream media, a mainstream media that was reading a script about medical issues.

I work in natural health, which gives me different perspectives into wellness and illness than most people. That journey to natural health began 1.5 decades ago when one of my children had an immediate and severe reaction to a vaccine. I began researching vaccines at that time, learning that there are tremendous corporate and government interests tied to promoting vaccines. Even before 2020, I saw that medical freedoms were being taken away state-by-state.

Worse (for me, at the time), I saw that there wasn’t a single Democrat fighting for medical freedom. Because of that, I made a decision that I could no longer vote for a Democrat.  Doing so could risk my family’s medical freedom. And since COVID, I have seen a huge gap between the parties for who will and won’t defend medical freedoms.

But this also meant that I really needed to start reading and researching where the other parties stood on all issues. I have a hard time affiliating with any one party, as I feel strongly that we must vote for individuals first. Of course, this takes more time to research and attend debates to really learn what is driving those running for office. But I feel this time investment is worth it to protect our beautiful country and democratic republic.

I ask you to start really critically thinking about your value system and to make sure that the candidates you vote for truly align with your heart and mind.

She is one very smart women. The news is so one sided anymore, you can’t believe anything they say.

What we are seeing here is another weak mind corrupted by the Trump crime family asking “Russia if you’re listening”. You’re not very smart if you can’t read the fraud in her opinion.

This country is a constitutional republic not a democratic republic.
