Opinion: Local Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Pedo-Friendly Drag Venue

Back in August, Protect Texas Kids became aware of a drag show hosted at Anderson’s Distillery and Grill that was openly advertised as “kid-friendly.” Our organization quickly responded and organized a protest outside of the venue. Unfortunately, we saw firsthand just how inappropriate and disgusting this show was and the idea that it was open to all ages was simply inexcusable.

The protest made national headlines due to the armed presence of the Antifa-affiliated Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club providing “security” for the perverts hosting the event. Thankfully, the venue received wide and heavy backlash from the public. We count this protest as a victory because even after the media buzz subsided, the venue has not hosted any of these grotesque events since.

Not shocking: Bad press for sexualizing children with black-bloc beta males with rifles marauding outside, pretending to be “security,” fails to attract future customers.

What IS shocking is that despite the fact that Anderson’s recently hosted this controversial and lewd event geared toward children, next Thursday, December 8th, the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate and welcome the venue into the chamber and community!

Also noteworthy, is that the current interim president of the Chamber, Bev Dixon, sits on the Keller ISD board of trustees (and is up for re-election in May 2023).

What’s more disturbing than the Greater Keller Chamber embracing a groomer-friendly restaurant? It actually gets worse. A quick visit to the Instagram page of Bailey Anderson, the son of restaurant owner, Jay Anderson, who hosted the drag event, reveals an alarming, yet insightful view of a much larger picture.

Be warned, that aside from hyper-sexualized content, there are swaths of photos depicting mutilated, grossly disfigured bodies and a clear obsession with death by this “humble” small business owner. He also includes profuse satanic imagery in some of his “performance” videos, including upside-down crosses, pentagrams drawn on his body, depictions of dark satanic rituals, and more.

Perhaps worst of all, one of his videos includes several shots of his lavish shrine to the demonic figure, Baphomet. In this video, Anderson lip-syncs “We Belong Together” by Mariah Carey to his Baphomet idol. It is grieving that this is the kind of behavior we can expect from someone who organizes and hosts drag shows for children.

There is absolutely no reason the Keller chamber should be welcoming nor inducting a business that holds drag shows for children as a member. Evidence that the owner’s son openly promotes satanism is even more wildly concerning, especially in light of the recent Balenciaga scandal and other threats Leftist culture aims at our children!

These drag events targeting kids are NOT harmless nor innocent – that is a LIE being shamelessly perpetuated by the Left. Anyone, including the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce and a sitting Keller ISD board member, who assists in the organizing or promotion of a “kid-friendly” drag show is aiding and abetting child abuse. Period.

Kelly seems to have an anti-LGBT opinion piece in the Express every week. This one is full of prejudical statements using terms like “Pedo-Friendly” in the headline and “perverts hosting the event” to describe a business.
Drag Show are legal, The kids who attended did so with their approving parents.
The real offense here is the postest of free association, the rights of the parents to entertain their children as they think appropriate, and business harassment.

I had to look up where Keller was, but I’ll be at Anderson’s this weekend!

In attempting to trash Bev Dixon, the author has lost all credibility with me. Mrs Dixon served our country for over 20 years in the Navy and is super involved in the Keller community. I’ve watched recent school board meetings and she is a necessary voice of reason without a political agenda.

The people are sick of your hate filled MAGA mom b.s.
Grow up you children. The kids that were invited to the show are probably more mature than you.
To, the writer of this garbage.

Thank you for bringing a tough issue to light. ‘Drag’ is not something I’ve ever been exposed to, so at first I agreed; it does seem weird-wrong; but I’m often wrong about being right. So, I will also be attending my first drag show and having a beer at the distillery!

Regardless of a person’s beliefs, name-calling, prejudice and discriminatory language are not effective ways to communicate those beliefs. Nor are unsupported theories of harm and child abuse.

I think people are more likely to believe in free speech, and an expert opinion which is, (protesters) hate non-conformity, fear their own sexuality, and remove focus on how homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia might be hurting our children, much more than a lifesize cartoon character ever will.

Note: Swaths of Protect Texas Kids Facebook photos depicting mutilated, grossly disfigured bodies and a clear obsession with death might be considered obscene. Think of the children!
