This November’s election is the time for the American voter, and especially the Hispanic voter, to send the Democrats a message: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

With the new dishonestly named “Inflation Reduction Act,” the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media continue to twist and manipulate language to fool enough voters to try to keep themselves in power despite obviously failing policies.

We’ve heard it all before. The southern border is under control, two consecutive quarters of negative growth is no longer a recession, and our economy has never been stronger. Now, to add to this string of lies, we are told that this latest tax and spending spree is going to reduce the inflation that has done serious economic damage to a significant majority of the country. How insulting to the voters of America.

This new law is a tax and spend monstrosity that includes the hiring of more than 80,000 new employees by the IRS to go after hardworking Americans with small businesses and conservative political leanings. The first new job listings call for people who can carry firearms and are willing to use deadly force. You read that correctly.

The new taxes on businesses will of course be paid by the businesses making them less competitive in the world market, also it will include, according to the CBO, millions of people making less than $400,000 a year. Promise broken.

More than $80 billion of the $740 billion is to hire new IRS agents and the payoff is supposed to be $124 billion in taxes owed that are currently not being paid. The cost controls of prescription drugs aren’t scheduled to go into effect until 2026, and then for only 10 drugs. And the more than $300 billion intended to keep the average global temperature from rising and to make hurricanes and forest fires less severe promises to redefine the word boondoggle. Anyone remember Solyndra?

And of course like all new taxes, they never collect what is anticipated in their projections.

Many of those small businesses targeted by the new IRS troopers will be those owned by members of the Hispanic community, which proudly inspires many entrepreneurs, from the food trucks, to the new air conditioning service companies, to the granite supply companies to the real estate developers. How much more difficult will this become with taxes and regulations stealing all the profits needed to grow the company?

To give billions to subsidize the wealthy so they can purchase electric vehicles does not help the community. The environmental costs to build these cars easily outweighs the pollution saved by driving with batteries. The truth is that man-made global warming, now called climate change, is not an existential crisis. But that is a story for another article.

The disruption to the supply chain that will result from this law’s new regulations will enhance the shortage pressures which cause inflation. Inflation is too much money chasing too few goods.

The supply chain disruptions that will result from the new taxes and regulations will make the baby formula shortage crisis look small.  Take for example, insulin. The new law caps the price of insulin. Within a year after that goes into effect, the supply of insulin will be greatly diminished, and Biden will have to send planes somewhere to bring in supplies and pay double or more what it would have cost if they had left all this to the marketplace of supply and demand.

So without a crystal ball we can see the future, immediate big spending and NO revenue, increasing the already dangerous level of national debt. The taxes don’t begin for several years and the spending has already begun. Will the Biden administration begin another international crisis to blame the inflation on? I fear they will to cover for their disastrous policies.

But there is hope. This November we can change the Congress and begin to stop the bleeding. There will be the usual accusations that Republicans are going to kill granny and bring about death and destruction as they only look out for their wealthy donors. The left has been successful in the past but now the voters are beginning to see through their methods. They have truly gone too far, and our country is hanging on by a thread.

The left does not care about consensus, only power. Without a majority in the Senate and with a very small majority in the House they have passed this extreme legislation to wreak havoc on the nation’s economy and they will blame everyone and everything except their ridiculous policies.

We must vote them out in November to prove how wrong the Biden administration and the Democratic leadership have been. Their contempt for most Americans has reached new levels. We often hear that this coming election is the most important in history. This next one may truly be the one.

The best way to fight inflation is to elect Republicans so they can give the super-rich top 1% another huge tax cut. We need to restart the “trickle-down economy”. Forget health care, drug prices, defense, the budget, and the deficit.
Also, let Mexico continue building and paying for the border Wall !

Forget about the top 1%. If the government was to confiscate 100% of every dollar the to 10% has it would not be enough to put a tiny dent in the deficit. It would not be enough to cover Democrat spending for more than a month. If Republicans don’t take the House and Senate America as we know it will be no more. Judges, RINOs, federal law enforcement agencies and several other federal agencies have been bought and paid for by people who want to destroy and turn it into a one party rule state.

The author refuses to face the fact that the GOP Congress has no ideas on how to help the working middle class and retirees.

Wonderful article that is well reasoned, plainly written, and most importantly full of the lost art of truth in journalism. Thank you!

It’s sad but we are now living under a corrupt tyrannical government and there is no law that they won’t break to stay in power. They will get away with it. I am sure that once again the elections will be rigged. If Republicans don’t take the House and Senate America as we know it will be no more. Judges, RINOs, federal law enforcement agencies and several other federal agencies have been bought and paid for by people who want to destroy and turn it into a Socialist/Communist, one party rule state.

You know, our government of only 2 parties at extreme odds with each other is the problem. Maybe there would be more cooperation at the federal level if the Republicans weren’t so good at gerrymandering at the State level. Democracy depends on majority rule, however, in this era of extreme polarity, we have evolved into a nation that listens to flame-throwers like Trump and idiots like Marjorie Taylor Green. The level of paranoia in this country is becoming dangerous. Violence is on the rise and ignorance is the cause.
