Obituary for Quanh Hy Luong

Quanh Hy Luong went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anh Tu Chung; his 5 children: Connie (Tim), Tom, Peter (Annie), Ryan (Debbie) and Mylinh; his 5 grandkids: Canyon, Weldon, Amanda, Justin, and Andy; and his sisters: Anh Leang and Kim Leung.

Quanh was born in Jianping Town in Guangxi Province in China on June 1, 1931. He met his beloved wife after he moved to Vietnam. In 1980, they moved to the USA as refugees with their 5 children after the Vietnam war. They eventually settled in Dallas, Texas in 1982 where he worked in the apparel industry until he retired.

After his retirement, he became a follower of Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending services at Dallas Chinese Bible Church. His remaining years were spent enjoying his time with his wife and family, playing Mahjong, socializing with everyone he meets, and reading the Chinese paper. He was such a loving person to all and will be greatly missed.
