Carlos Torres Sr.
JANUARY 25, 1947 – JUNE 1, 2021
Carlos Torres Sr., age 74, passed away on June 1, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 25, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Jesse and Juanita Torres. Carlos was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1966.
He married Linda Torres (Herrera) in 1967 and the couple had three children. He was a Truck Driver at Pitney Bowes where he worked for more than 18 years.
In his spare time, Carlos enjoyed life! He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the outdoors. He loved traveling and wherever he went he brought his jambox with his favorite music for everyone to hear!
His family and friends will always remember him as a strong, faithful man who loved making people happy. He was the Foundation of our Family and would do anything for anyone. Everyone respected and looked up to him. He had a contagious smile and was the life of the party.
He is preceded in death by: father, Jesse Torres; mother, Juanita Torres; sister, Teresa Hernandez
Survived by: wife, Linda Torres; daughter, Sophia Mattos; son, Carlos Torres Jr.; daughter, Rachel Gutierrez; grandsons, Andrew J. Torres and Joshua A. Mattos; granddaughters, Alexandria Rae Martinez and Brittany R. Torres; brothers, Jesse, Richard, Daniel and Rafael; sisters, Delores Morris and Delia Martinez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews
