Secretary of War Pete Hegseth delivered a blunt message to U.S. military leaders during a closed-door meeting at Quantico, Virginia.

He declared an end to wokeness in the armed forces.

Hegseth addressed topics ranging from physical readiness to political correctness. He said the Pentagon must return to discipline, toughness, and warfighting fundamentals.

“And we’re not talking, like, hot yoga and stretching,” Hegseth quipped, according to Real Clear Politics. “It’s completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals in the halls of the Pentagon, and leading commands all around the world. It’s a bad look. It is bad, and it’s not who we are.”

The secretary also announced an end to politically correct leadership. “The era of politically correct, overly sensitive don’t-hurt-anyone’s-feelings leadership ends right now at every level,” he declared.

“No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses. No more climate change worship. No more division, distraction, or gender delusions,” Hegseth added. “We are done with that sh*t.”

Hegseth emphasized that mistakes should not permanently ruin careers.

“People make honest mistakes, and our mistakes should not define an entire career,” Hegseth said. “Otherwise, we only try not to make mistakes.”
