Former President Donald Trump declared he will treat his enemies as they have treated him and “lock people up” if he regains the presidency.

Trump committed to arresting those he said were persecuting and trying to imprison him while being interviewed by radio host Glenn Beck.

Beck had asked Trump about his campaign chant to “lock her up” in reference to Hillary Clinton and her alleged mishandling of classified documents, which he did not follow through with once he was elected president.

“You said in 2016 … ‘Lock her up.’ And then when you became president, you said, ‘We don’t do that in America. That’s just not the right thing to do.’ That’s what they’re doing. Do you regret not locking her up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?” Beck asked Trump.

“The answer is you have no choice because they’re doing it to us,” Trump replied.

Trump blamed President Biden for being behind the efforts to imprison him and his co-defendants and supporters, saying, “I always had such great respect for the office of the president, the presidency … and I never hit Biden as hard as I could have. And then I heard he was trying to indict me and it was him that was doing it.”

Trump suggested Biden was orchestrating efforts to imprison his chief political rival, particularly by controlling the various state and federal entities pursuing the former president.

“You know, I don’t think he’s sharp enough to think about much, but he was there and he was probably the one giving the order,” Trump explained.

“But he was … hard to believe that he even thinks about that because he’s gone. But then I said, well, they’re actually trying to indict me because every one of these indictments is him, including Bragg,” he said, referring to the case brought against him by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

“I don’t know if you know this, he put his top person into the office of the Manhattan district attorney,” he continued. “They’ve been in total coordination with Fani Willis,” he said, referring to the district attorney for Fulton County, Georgia.

“The woman that I never met that they accused me of rape, that’s being run by a Democrat, a Democrat operative, and paid for by the Democrat party.”

“You know, so many of these things, I have a couple of other lawsuits all funded against me by the Democrats. But these are sick people. These are evil people,” Trump added.

Some politicos were happy to hear the former president a willingness to respond to his opposition in kind.

Paul Joseph Watson tweeted approvingly, “During an interview with Glenn Beck, President Trump vowed that if he is re-elected he will ‘lock up’ those who are trying to politically destroy him despite being completely corrupt themselves.”

More liberal commentators were somewhat shocked by the former president’s statement.

“Trump promises to ‘lock people up’ during INSANE Glenn Beck interview,” tweeted David Pakman.

The former president is currently facing four criminal indictments. They include a case in Washington, D.C., federal court for trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election, another federal case in Florida for allegedly mishandling classified documents, a case in Georgia state court for alleged election interference, and a New York state case for allegedly paying hush money to an adult film star.
