An Ohio man allegedly lined up his three children and executed them last week, just ahead of Father’s Day weekend.
Law enforcement officers were dispatched to a home on Laurel Lindale Road in Monroe Township, Ohio, on Thursday after a woman called 911 and reported her “babies had been shot.”
A few minutes after the initial call, a driver on a nearby road also called 911, reporting that a female juvenile was running down the road stating that “her father is killing everyone.”
When the Clermont County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered three young boys lying unresponsive in the yard. All three had been shot. Officers began lifesaving measures, but the children were pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies located a fourth gunshot victim in the home, a 34-year-old woman whose identity has not yet been released. She was shot in the hand and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The deputies arrested 32-year-old Chad Doerman, who was sitting quietly on the porch steps with a rifle beside him when the officers arrived.
In an initial press release, the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the ages of the three deceased boys as 3, 4, and 7. In a later statement regarding Doerman’s arrest, officials confirmed that Doerman is the father of the three victims of the June 15 shooting.
The female juvenile is reportedly Doerman’s stepdaughter.
Bodycam footage of Doerman’s arrest can be seen circulating on social media. The video shows deputies walking quickly toward Doerman with firearms pointed at him, commanding him to stand up.
Doerman does not stand up and can be seen sitting on a doorstep with his face in his hands. He does not resist as officers pull him to the ground and handcuff him.
The bodies of the three victims are blacked out in the video footage, but it appears they are on the ground just steps away from where Doerman had been sitting.

At an arraignment on Friday, prosecutors alleged that Doerman lined his children up and shot them execution-style with a rifle. One of the boys ran to a nearby field but was caught and dragged back to the property before being shot, according to the prosecutors, per news outlet 9WCPO.
Court documents report that Doerman confessed to planning and carrying out the victims’ deaths.
Doerman is currently being held in the Clermont County Jail and has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder. His bond has been set at $20 million.
