Plans have officially been unveiled for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library and Museum. The facility, located in downtown Miami, will serve as the official repository of the 45th and 47th Presidents’ “historical records and public legacy.”
Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, led the announcement at a press conference held at Trump National Doral, alongside a collection of architects and senior representatives from the family’s businesses. The library is expected to sit on a prime waterfront parcel in Miami’s Brickell corridor, with early renderings showing a bold, glass-clad structure featuring a public museum, a “research archive,” and an outdoor plaza along Biscayne Bay.
“Over the past six months, I have poured my heart and soul into this project with my incredible team at @Trump. This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known,” Eric Trump wrote in a social media post unveiling the new renderings on March 30.

The choice of Miami over more traditional presidential library locations carries symbolic weight for the family. Florida has been central to Trump’s political identity since his relocation from New York, and the city of Miami itself represents a diverse, fast-growing constituency that delivered strong margins for the Republican ticket in both 2020 and 2024.
There is currently no confirmed construction timeline for the Miami library, as the official website states, “Coming Soon.” The project is still awaiting several important permits and fundraising milestones. However, private funding is expected to cover the majority of construction costs, a standard practice for most presidential libraries.
Former Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (R) expressed his enthusiasm for the project at an event last year when he presented Trump with a golden key to the city, saying, “This is a key that opens some really nice Presidential library real estate.”

Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are reportedly the primary family representatives overseeing the library project, bringing resumes defined by real estate, brand management, and venture leadership.
Eric Trump has served as executive vice president of the Trump Organization (and its vast real estate portfolio) since 2010, managing the construction and operation of golf resorts, hotels, and mixed-use properties worldwide.
Recently, he has been a driving force in the family’s expansion into digital assets and the crypto world, playing a key role in World Liberty Financial, the crypto and “decentralized finance venture” the Trump family launched in 2024.
Eric is often regarded as one of the main operational engines behind the Trump business empire.
Donald Trump Jr. has served alongside his brother as executive vice president of the Trump Organization, primarily focusing on real estate. Beyond property, he co-founded 1789 Capital, a venture firm investing in companies that have faced political pressure or deplatforming, which has grown into a powerful leader in conservative tech investment circles.
He has also jumped in on the family’s big push into crypto, getting involved with his brother in building out a large-scale Bitcoin mining operation in Texas. As previously reported by DX, the Trump family’s Bitcoin mining and treasury company, American Bitcoin (ABTC), also founded by the brothers, officially began trading on Nasdaq last September following a major merger.
Together, the two brothers have been working to blend the Trump brand’s traditional real estate muscle with the fast-moving world of emerging financial technology.
