In his post, President Trump took aim at The New York Times and its journalist Peter Baker, calling Baker “very biased and untalented” and questioning the newspaper’s coverage of the conflict.

His remarks highlight his ongoing concerns about media portrayals of his administration’s efforts to address the war, urging for what he sees as a more balanced narrative.

Trump also reflected on the actions of former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, holding them accountable for the conflict’s escalation.

He criticized Obama for allowing Crimea to be “sort of taken away” in 2014, contrasting it with his own contributions by stating, “I gave Ukraine javelins, and Obama gave them sheets.”

He further noted Biden’s approach, suggesting that stronger leadership could have altered the war’s trajectory, emphasizing his belief in the need for decisive action.

Turning to the current situation, Trump addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin directly, stating, “There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas.”

He called on Putin to “stop” the attacks, expressing his desire to see an end to the violence and pushing for a peace deal that could resolve the conflict, which has now stretched into its third year.
