President Donald Trump has reignited tensions with Democratic Reps. Jasmine Crockett and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, after saying the lawmakers have a “low IQ,” prompting swift responses from the two House members.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Trump recently underwent an MRI at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, describing the test results as “perfect.”
When asked about the recent health inspection, Trump discussed the various tests he underwent while at Walter Reed, taking shots at both Crockett and Ocasio-Cortez in the process.
Trump explained how he underwent multiple different IQ and cognitive tests during his recent checkup, claiming that neither of the representatives would be able to accomplish that feat.
“They have Jasmine Crockett – a low IQ person. AOC is low IQ. If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard. They’re really aptitude tests, in a certain way, but they’re cognitive tests. Let AOC go against Trump. Let Jasmine go against Trump,” Trump said.
Crockett responded to Trump’s claims during a recent interview, questioning the President’s intelligence and suggesting his remarks reveal insecurity, saying that she has been “waiting on a reporter” to ask about his IQ.
“What is his IQ? Because he is constantly talking about — he doesn’t even know what a low IQ is. He don’t even know which scores are low. And I can guarantee you that whatever score, if he’s taken one, anytime recently. I’m sure that his qualifies as low,” she claimed.
“So, I am not worried about that. And I wish people would look at the fact that you have a President of the United States who consistently is obsessing over two women of color that are members of the House. You are the President. You have a lot more power than we do. But obviously, you consistently feel threatened.”
This back-and-forth comes as Crockett has been under scrutiny over ethics questions.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Crockett failed to disclose ownership in roughly 25 companies that have ties to major pharmaceutical, fossil fuel, and marijuana firms, raising concerns about transparency with the representative. Not to mention her long list of questionable personal ties, tirades, and taunts.
Meanwhile, Ocasio-Cortez joined the online exchange about IQs, posting on social media to take a shot at the President in response to his comments.
Hello Mr. President!
Out of curiosity, did those doctors ask you to draw a clock by any chance? Was that part hard for you, too?
