President-elect Trump and other elected officials are blaming President Joe Biden’s leadership for the terrorist attack that took place in New Orleans on January 1 when a man drove a truck through a crowd of NYE celebrants.

“With the Biden ‘Open Border’s Policy’ I said, many times during Rallies, and elsewhere, that Radical Islamic Terrorism, and other forms of violent crime, will become so bad in America that it will become hard to even imagine or believe. That time has come, only worse than ever imagined. Joe Biden is the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA, A COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISASTER. What he and his group of Election Interfering ‘thugs’ have done to our Country will not soon be forgotten! MAGA,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Others have joined Trump in criticizing Biden.

“The ISIS-inspired terror attack in New Orleans is another disastrous consequence of Joe Biden’s weak, feckless, failed leadership. The victims, their families, and every American deserve answers,” U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) wrote on X.

The FBI has identified Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, as the suspect who allegedly drove the truck into the crowd, killing 15 and injuring dozens of others. Jabbar, a U.S.-born citizen and U.S. Army veteran from Houston, Texas, reportedly posted videos before the attack in which he declared his support for the ISIS terrorist group, per CBS News.

The FBI stated that the ISIS flag was located in the vehicle used in the attack.
