The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was allegedly involved in the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, according to his nephew, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
RFK Jr., the son of U.S. Senator Bobby Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968, is now a Democratic candidate for the 2024 presidential election, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
During a Sunday interview, RFK Jr. claimed “there is overwhelming evidence … beyond a reasonable doubt” that the CIA was involved in the murder of his uncle.
He doubled down on these claims while speaking with Sean Hannity on Fox News on Monday.
“It was my father’s first instinct the agency killed his brother,” Kennedy said. He explained that on the day that JFK was assassinated, Bobby Kennedy called a CIA desk officer at the agency’s headquarters in Langley, as well as then-CIA director John McCone, and asked, “Did your people do this?”
RFK claimed there are “millions of pages of documents — CIA documents — of transcripts, of recorded conversations from the Cuban embassy in Mexico City. It’s hard to summarize the evidence.”
He said the agency has engaged in a “60-year cover-up” of what occurred.
Kennedy said one of the leaders of the Warren Commission, formed by President Lyndon B. Johnson to investigate JFK’s assassination, was ex-CIA director Allen Dulles. JFK had fired his brother, John Foster Dulles, from the position of Secretary of State.
“[Dulles] insinuated himself onto the Warren Commission and essentially ran the Warren Commission and kept this evidence from the Warren Commissioners,” he claimed. “Either way, when Congress, 10 years later, investigated the crime with much more evidence than the Warren Commission had at its disposal, Congress found that … it was a plot.”
“It was a conspiracy [and] there were multiple people involved,” RFK continued. “And most of the people in that investigation believe that it was the CIA that was behind it — because the evidence was overwhelming to them.”
Kennedy said that his father, as attorney general, investigated Jack Ruby and discovered a mob leader who claimed Ruby was “recruited by the CIA in the [Fidel] Castro murder plot — so they were all working together in cahoots with the CIA.”
The CIA has repeatedly denied claims that the agency was involved in JFK’s assassination.
