According to former President Donald Trump, Arnold Palmer was more than just a great golfer; he was all man.

“Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that with all due respect to women,” Trump told a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Palmer’s hometown, on October 19, 2024.

“When he took showers with other pros, they came out of there, and they said, ‘Oh my God. That’s unbelievable,’” Trump said. “I had to say it. We have women that are highly sophisticated here, but they used to look at Arnold as a man.”

The comment immediately made a splash in political circles.

CNN Host Jake Tapper asked House Speaker Mike Johnson about it on his program State of the Union on October 20.

Johnson tried to dodge the question, telling Tapper the real issue is whether voters are better off now than during the Trump Administration.

“Look at the record of these two candidates,” Johnson added. “This shouldn’t be about personalities. It should be about policy.”

Tapper pressed him again, and a back-and-forth ensued. Eventually, Johnson gave in and addressed Trump’s description of Palmer’s manhood.

“I’ll address it. Let me answer it. OK. Don’t say it again,” he said, dismissing it as mere “lines in a rally.”

“You can cherry-pick a few words or lines out of a two-hour event,” Johnson later added, contrasting it from the entirety of Vice President Kamala Harris’ communication style as “word salads.”

It was not the first time Trump had told this story, according to Maggie Haberman of The New York Times, who said she had heard about it in the Oval Office in 2020.

Trump is not the only billionaire to discuss large penises in recent days. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones can be seen with Jaime Foxx in a video that went viral earlier this month discussing a player’s member.

“Five-nine and a half, 210 [pounds],” Jones appears to say. “4.41 [40-yard dash]. Nine and three-inch hands. Eight-and-a-half-inch dick.”

Later, Jones reportedly said he did not recall his statement.

Trump is also not the only president to discuss penises, including inside the Oval Office. A phone call between President Lyndon Johnson and a tailor shows the Texan discussing needing more room in his pants for his large testicles.

“See if you can’t leave me an inch from where the zipper ends,” LBJ says before burping and adding, “back to my bunghole.”

He likewise describes the sensation of his penis being hit by the seat of his pants as “just like riding a high wire fence.”

Johnson is widely reported to have pulled out his Johnson both to answer reporters’ questions and intimidate senators. He reportedly nicknamed it “jumbo” and would swing it around while discussing legislation.
