A complaint has been filed against the Board of Elections of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, due to an alleged backlog of thousands of voter registrations and mail-in ballot applications.

“Spoke tonight before the Luzerne County Board of Elections. I pulled out the complaint we will be filing against Luzerne County tomorrow. There is a backlog of THOUSANDS of voter registrations + mail-in ballot applications. Hope I make you proud,” Scott Presler wrote on X.

Presler founded Early Vote Action (EVA)  with the goal of registering Republican voters and getting them to vote early.

“The Early Vote Action network is a nationwide group of grassroots activists who dedicate their time, resources, and hard work to achieving this goal in the key swing states of Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin,” the EVA website states.

Presler lambasted the board.

“I will be clear this is not a left or a right issue,” Presler said at the meeting.

Presler stressed the need for action, as there is a risk of voters being disenfranchised.

“These voters may not have their mail-in ballots returned in time,” Presler said.

“Voters have been disenfranchised in this county repeatedly year after year, and still we are not hiring more staff,” Presler said.

Presler went on to offer help to voters who have been disenfranchised.

“Dear Pennsylvania Boards of Elections, If you are telling voters that it will take a long time to process their ‘in-person, on demand, mail-in ballot applications,’ that is election interference & voter disenfranchisement. We are sending voters to peacefully check on you,” Presler wrote on X.

The Dallas Express reached out to Luzerne County Board of Elections for comment but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
