Parents’ Rights In Vaccine Decisions Examined In New Going Rogue Episode

Lara Logan’s latest episode of Going Rogue revisits one of the most heated medical freedom debates in the country: informed consent and newborn vaccinations.

The episode focuses heavily on the hepatitis B vaccine, which is commonly given to newborns, and features an update involving attorney Aaron Siri of the Informed Consent Action Network.

Logan discusses what she describes as a leaked internal Kaiser Permanente document that allegedly instructed staff to present newborn medications and vaccines as routine care without emphasizing parents’ right to refuse. Kaiser Permanente disputed that the screenshot reflected its approach, according to Logan.

The episode also reloads Logan’s December 2025 interview with Siri, where the two discuss vaccine injury claims, the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, vaccine mandates, pharmaceutical immunity, and the broader fight over medical freedom.

Rather than simply focusing on one vaccine, Logan frames the issue around a larger question: whether parents can give meaningful consent if they are not fully informed of their choices.
