Following the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, a 23-year-old “transgender” man named Robert “Robin” Westman killed two children and injured 21 others, the Department of Justice is reportedly considering ways to restrict firearm access for individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria.

The Minneapolis murderer was a self-proclaimed “transgender” individual who said prior to his killing spree, “I wish I had never brainwashed myself,” as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

This most recent “trans” terror attack has reignited calls to reevaluate mental health conditions like gender dysphoria, listed as a disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).

The Department of Justice (DOJ) insiders now say the department is considering whether or not current federal authority can be used to ban those with “severe cases” of gender dysphoria from owning firearms, per CNN.

As of 2025, federal law requires a judge to declare someone mentally “defective” before revoking their Second Amendment protections.

The DOJ, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, is no stranger to bold moves to fight crime, some of which are connected to issues like gender dysphoria and the increase in “trans” violence.

In a statement given to the media earlier this month, the DOJ said it is “actively reviewing options to address violence tied to specific mental health challenges.”

A report from UCLA showed that more than 40% of “transgender” adults in the U.S. have attempted suicide, and over 80% have seriously considered it. More than half reported harming themselves at some point in their lives.
