Melania Trump recently released a mysterious new ad on X for an upcoming memoir.
The 30-second ad opens with a chicly-dressed former first lady set against a barren black background. In her opening words, she questions the events surrounding the assassination attempt on her husband in Pennsylvania.
“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” she says. “Now the silence around it feels heavy.”
“I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?” she added. “There is definitely more to this story, and we need to uncover the truth.”
The video ends with an image of her new book, Melania, with a white cover and her name printed in bold black ink. Then, her name fades in, with a reversed color scheme, replacing the image of the book.
A link to pre-order copies is attached to the post. The book is scheduled for release in the second week of October. There are various editions of the book available, ranging in price from $40 to $250.

The post came just hours before former President Donald Trump hit the stage to face down Vice President Kamala Harris in their first in-person meeting.
This book is one of several released by the Trump family in recent months. Earlier this summer, the 45th president announced his photobook that included images from the failed attempt on his life.
“I’m pleased to announce my new Book, ‘SAVE AMERICA.’ As everyone knows, the first two, ‘Our Journey Together’ and, ‘Letters to Trump,’ have been spectacular successes, and this is the BEST OF ALL, especially in light of the fact that we are now living in a Failing Nation, but it will not be failing for long. We will soon, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post at the time.
