Journalist Lara Logan used the latest episode of her podcast Going Rogue with Lara Logan to discuss concerns about accountability within the federal government nearly a year into the Trump administration.

During the episode, Logan said whistleblowers who reported fraud, waste, and abuse continue to face retaliation, citing interviews with whistleblower advocate Dr. Timothy Shindelar.

Logan described what she said was an internal “rear guard” within the federal bureaucracy that has prevented investigations from advancing and limited consequences for senior officials.

Logan questioned why no indictments have followed public assertions of wrongdoing tied to the Russia investigation and other controversies from prior administrations. She referenced public statements by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who has said evidence exists of a “seditious conspiracy” involving senior Obama-era officials, and asked why prosecutions have not occurred if such evidence is documented.

The podcast also addressed executive authority, with Logan criticizing Congress for failing to codify executive orders intended to curb the weaponization of government. She said leaving such orders unenforced or reversible weakens their impact.

Turning to education policy, Logan discussed remarks by the Michigan Department of Education suggesting parents do not know what is best for their children. She said parents are being excluded from decisions involving child identity and “gender” ideology and urged greater parental involvement in school boards and local governance.

Logan warned against irreversible “sex-altering” medical interventions for minors, arguing that underlying mental health issues are often not addressed. She emphasized the role of parents in protecting children and called for increased scrutiny of policies affecting minors.
