“Transgender” Robert “Robin” Westman, 23, carried out a violent shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis on Wednesday, killing two children and injuring 17 others while students prayed during a back-to-school Mass, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
After Westman carried through with his violent fantasies and premeditated plan, he killed himself.
In a handwritten journal posted online before the massacre, Westman wrote, “I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself.”
The writings revealed regret and confusion about his identity, showing he no longer saw himself as a woman but also struggled with not feeling like a man.
The DX Brief:
- “I don’t want to dress girly all the time … I know I am not a woman but I definitely don’t feel like a man,” Westman wrote
- Westman legally changed name from Robert to Robin in 2020 court filing citing female identity while still a minor
- “I regret being trans.. I wish I was a girl I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today,” Westman admitted
- Journal mixed English and Russian Cyrillic script to conceal passages
- Two children murdered, 17 others wounded during morning Mass at the Catholic school
- Gun magazines included phrases such as “kill Donald Trump” and “I’m the Woker, Baby Why So Queerious?”
- Shooter had previously been a student at the school, and his mother worked there
