Hunter Biden’s recent profanity-laced interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan may have been intended as a defense of his father’s failed 2024 campaign, but it landed more like a self-indictment of everything Americans have come to resent about “elite” entitlement and denial.

The son of former President Joe Biden appeared to throw fire at just about everyone, from Hollywood stars to Democratic insiders to journalists. Still, he managed to spare the man at the center of the storm: his father.

Hunter lashed out at actor George Clooney, who publicly urged President Biden to step aside in 2024. Clooney’s op-ed in The New York Times was published under the title: George Clooney: I Love Joe Biden. But We Need a New Nominee.

“What right do you have to step on a man who’s given 52 years of his f—ing life to the services of this country?” Hunter snapped, addressing his thoughts on Clooney.

Hunter, like many in his circle, appears to be allergic to accountability. This makes sense, given that his father pardoned him from multiple felony charges before leaving office, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

When asked about his battle with drug addiction, and specifically crack cocaine, Hunter tried to vocally stop himself from romanticizing how much he enjoyed the drug.

Despite his attempt to curtail his enthusiasm, Hunter went on a lengthy rant about how crack cocaine is healthier than alcohol, even detailing how it can be cooked with sodium bicarbonate from a nearby corner store. He also mentioned how he previously had a habit of drinking a fifth of vodka a day.

Hunter was seemingly trying to sell himself throughout the 3-hour interview as a changed, sober, and more responsible man. A man different from the Hunter who reportedly pulled in up to $50,000 a month from a Ukrainian energy company despite having no relevant qualifications. The same Hunter who became a walking liability for the Democratic Party due to his personal scandals and legal troubles. And the same Hunter previously pleaded guilty to federal tax crimes and gun crimes, yet never received punishment.

During the interview, Hunter also criticized former Obama adviser David Axelrod and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for not defending his father more aggressively.

Pelosi, he claimed, didn’t give a “full-throated” endorsement of Biden in 2024, neglecting to mention that even behind closed doors, many longtime Democratic leaders were urging Biden to step down for the good of the country, as previously reported by DX.

Even Hunter’s defense of Biden’s widely criticized debate performance against Trump was bizarrely revealing.

“He’s 81 years old; he’s tired as s—,” Hunter offered, explaining that his father was given Ambien to sleep and struggled to rebound onstage.

Hunter appeared to save his sharpest criticism for the Democratic Party itself: “Why do you think that the Republicans have an advantage over us? Because they’re unified.”
