A Michigan Democrat lawmaker sported a vulgar “F*CK ICE” pin on the House floor during Tuesday night’s State of the Union, spotlighting the Left’s ongoing contempt for border security and Trump.
U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) wore a prominent “F*CK ICE” button on the House floor during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, along with a separate pin reading “STAND WITH SURVIVORS RELEASE THE FILES,” seemingly referencing documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Seated beside fellow Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Tlaib’s visible protests underscored a pattern of Democratic lawmakers using high-profile speeches to express opposition to Trump administration policies—particularly on immigration enforcement—leading some observers to note that partisan animosity appears to override basic decorum and common-sense restraint in the chamber.
Video and photographs from the House floor show Tlaib and Omar shouting at points during the address. They later departed before the speech concluded, according to reports.

Trump used the February 24 address to highlight progress on border security, inflation, energy production, and national defense. In a prior report, The Dallas Express reported that roughly a dozen Democratic lawmakers chose not to attend the speech, while others interrupted from the chamber during the nearly one-hour and 48-minute address.
A list of at least some of the legislators who did not attend was provided by Katie Couric Media:
- Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey
- Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley
- Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy
- Minnesota Sen. Tina Smith
- Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen
- Arizona Rep. Yassamin Ansari
- Vermont Rep. Becca Balint
- Texas Rep. Greg Casar
- Texas Rep. Veronica Escobar
- Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal
- Illinois Rep. Delia Ramirez
- New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman
- Connecticut Rep. John Larson
In January, DHS officials condemned the increase in violence against immigration agents. Data from the agency showed that ICE agents “now face[s] a more than 1,300% increase in assaults, a 3,200% increase in vehicular attacks against them, and an 8,000% increase in death threats.”
Imagine refusing to stand for:
– Americans over illegals
– Voter ID
– Lowest murder rate in 125 years
– Ending fraud & waste
– Angel families
– Tough-on-crime policies
– No tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security
– Crushing fentanyl
