Frito-Lay is recalling select bags of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips sold in six states, including Texas.
The 8-ounce bags may contain jalapeño-flavored chips with undeclared milk, creating a serious allergy risk for those with milk allergies or sensitivities, the company said.
The recall affects products distributed starting January 15, 2026, to grocery, convenience, and drug stores as well as local digital retailers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The UPC is 0 28400 761772, with a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of April 21, 2026, and manufacturing codes of 38U301414 or 48U101514.
Frito-Lay identified the issue after a consumer contact and has received no reports of allergic reactions. The product is safe for those without milk allergies.
No other Miss Vickie’s products, sizes, or flavors are included in the recall.
Consumers with milk allergies should discard the product immediately or contact Miss Vickie’s at 1-877-984-2543 or its Contact Us page.
The recall notice appeared on the FDA website on Wednesday after Frito-Lay issued it earlier in the week.
