The Republican National Convention hosts its third day of speakers on Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, where the party will discuss its foreign policy agenda.

Tuesday night’s speakers addressed the need for unity within the Republican party, which was illustrated by two of Trump’s rivals from the campaign trail who were running for the Republican presidential nomination.

Nikki Haley, former UN ambassador, and Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida delivered messages to the party expressing their support for Trump.

“President Trump asked me to speak to this convention in the name of unity,” Haley said. “It was a gracious invitation, and I was happy to accept. I’ll start by making one thing perfectly clear: Donald Trump has my strong endorsement, period.”

Haley suspended her campaign following the GOP primary on Super Tuesday, as previously reported by The Dallas Express. DeSantis preceded Haley and suspended his campaign in full support of Trump earlier this year.

The former president appeared on Tuesday alongside J.D. Vance, a senator from Ohio, who was announced as Trump’s running mate on July 15, DX reported. Vance will address the party for the first time on Wednesday evening.

Several other notable speakers will deliver their remarks to the party on the third day of the convention, including Gov. Greg Abbott, Donald Trump Jr., U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, U.S. Rep. Monica De La Cruz (R-TX), and many more, The New York Times reported.

Wednesday evening’s speakers will cover foreign policy initiatives and the position of the U.S. on the global stage as the party seeks to “Make America Strong Again,” a play on the words in Trump’s campaign slogan.

The events of the evening will primarily focus on criticizing the Biden administration’s failure to secure the southern border, Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the Israel-Hamas war.

The first official session on Wednesday will begin at 5:45 p.m. CT, according to the convention’s master calendar.

Trump is scheduled to speak on Thursday to officially accept the party’s nomination, CBS News Texas reported.
