The Department of Homeland Security unveiled a redesigned website on Tuesday, capitalizing on record-breaking traffic that saw 102 million pageviews in 2025.

The new DHS.gov features a modern design and improved navigation following a 68.49% surge in visitors over the previous year.

The website overhaul reflects the Trump administration’s push for digital transparency and user accessibility. It arrives as DHS expands its online presence through initiatives like WOW.DHS.gov, which displays the names of arrested criminal aliens.

“Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump and Secretary [Kristi] Noem, DHS celebrated one of the most consequential periods of action and reform in American history in 2025,” a DHS spokesperson said in a news release. “From delivering the most secure border ever and removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens, to fixing disaster response and ushering in a golden age of travel, DHS will continue to build upon this success and innovate to find ways to deliver for the American people.”

The spokesperson added, “This redesigned website is another example of that commitment to innovation and being the most transparent administration in American history.”

Site visits jumped from 40 million in 2024 to 67 million in 2025—one of the most-visited pages featured information about self-deportation through the CBP Home App.

The redesigned homepage abandons traditional government website aesthetics in favor of a sleek, modern interface. Navigation improvements include streamlined menus and enhanced search functionality in the main navigation bar.

Interior pages received initial updates to match the new homepage design. DHS plans a more comprehensive Phase 2 redesign of these pages in the coming weeks.

The website refresh demonstrates DHS’s emphasis on digital engagement and public accessibility. The department continues expanding its online tools to showcase enforcement activities and immigration programs.
